Dr. Elizabeth Stephens-Sarlós has a private practice as a sensorimotor therapist, and has treated more than 5000 children since 2003. She performs research at the Széchenyi University in Győr, Hungary where she is a Senior Research Fellow. She has degrees in Physical Education, Biology, and Adapted Physical Education, and received her PhD in 2022. Since graduating in 1992 she has worked as a biology teacher, physical education teacher and school director, before focusing on sensorimotor therapy and primitive reflexes. Her current research interests include the application of sensorimotor therapy to dementia, autism, ADHD, and speech-related problems. In her youth she rowed internationally for the Hungarian national team and nowadays enjoys running, hiking, and cycling.
